Non-Emergency/Paratransit -New ventures
There seems to be an increasing number of clients requesting Non-emergency medical/Paratransit protection. Has anyone found a company or GA offering this for any of the 48 States? With the exception of the National Indemnity family who wanted 20K per vehicle for 6 vehicles.

I am licensed in several states. I have received a request for a quote for at least 10 different states over the past 6 months. I am located in Florida.

CNA promotes a program for Non-Emergency vehicles. We are CNA brokers and can wholesale it for you. Send submission to me at rlevine@smklein.com. I will obtain a quote for you. There are other markets as well. The only location that has been a problem in NYC.

We only write these on a PL/GL combined basis since the loading and un-loading exposure is a bit of a quagmire and the only way to make sure it's covered is by purchasing PL/GL without a loading and un-loading exclusion. If you're interested you can give one of my associates a call at 407-678-4552 and ask to speak with someone in our professional lines unit. Typically the risk is rated off of number of trips, vehicles, gross receipts. All of these must be estimated by the insured of course when they are start ups.
