I'm planing on moving to NC or SC (Raleigh, NC / Fayetteville, NC or Florence, SC) in the next 6-9 months and was wondering if someone can give me some information on opening an insurance agency in those areas. To give you a brief feeback I have been an independent agent in CT for the last 8 years.....

We have all the needed markets... Travelers, Metlife, NGM Main St, Farmers, The Hartford, Utica, Safeco, Dairyland, Infinity, Foremost, Tower and Omni.

I'm just debating if being in the same plaza will help me gain or have some of my clients go over for a quote.

I have to tell you.... Aspire Looks great but still far from it... The system is still to new to be charging the price of a Jaguar when they are offering a Kia. Sorry but when you charge an upfront fee over $3500 and $400 per month for a 4 peson for a basic system without downloads or calendar/outlo...

Well it depends where you are... but in CT we have Infinity, Dairyland and Progressive.

I purchased AMS Prime in 2005 with personal download... But never purchased the monthly support. About 2 months ago I called AMS and purchased the commercial download module. Sales person was going to call me when it was ready. The sale person insisted on me buying the monthly support and I said NO....

I have a customer with an airport transportation company - 2 vans - in Connecticut.
