I know this is an old post but giving customer good quality service and meeting the clients needs is the best way for the customer to reffer you,I am sure they will be happy with the service you gave them and the clients will do the rest.

I went into the insurance business for two things,

First, I wanted to do something that I really love doing and could get paid for it and make a living from it

Second, If I can lower someones premium rates and still get paid for it then at the end of the day we both sleep happy!

I dont think I would say anything,thats just me though.

From my own experience going independent was the best thing that I could have ever done! The only hard part about the whole independent thing is getting started. It takes about 1 year to get fully going the way you want things to be and also earn the money you want to make. I have never been captive...
