NetQuotes is OK. I've noticed that the quality depends on where you're located at, you're markets, etc...

If I was running netquotes, are there things that I would change? Definitely. But at least it's pay-per-lead, so it makes it's better than shelling out a ton of money for up-front advertising.

I think that 50% the producer in your scenario is fair. After all, there was no marketing expense on the side of the agency. Their direct overhead was your salary and the general expenses like rent, office supplies, etc... If a good producer walked in my door and said that they could do their own ma...

try QuickFile.
It's a rather dinky program too, but it's cheap and it gets the job done for a lot of small agencies.

guys, why not check into something like the Brooke Corporation ( http://www.brookecorp.com ) for startups. On the front-end, they have a HEFTY franchise fee, but you should get a lot of that back through the 50% marketing expense co-ops. On the back-end (when you actually sell policies), they take a...
