I am in Louisiana and I use Foremost Ins. Group. They will write this for a year with a minimum premium earned of $250.00. so if the insured pays in full they will receive an unearned premium back. Always answer in insurance language, i.e. "subject to the dedubtible". You can know the answer but if it is not put in the correct insurance language it won't count even though you correctly answered the question. Just a tip, I learned the hard way.

Yes, I am in north Louisiana and Farmers is prevalent to alot of independent agents here. Their homeowner rates are pretty good.

Just a small suggestion, may or may not help, but hire a seasoned CSR, preferrably with a CISR Designation, who knows all the ins and outs of company guidelines, binding authorities, eligibilty, etc. for commercial and personal lines. She should be familiar with alot of different companies and their...
