Thanks to those the PM'ed me on this.

I'm not sure insurance consulting is main stream yet - seems to be growing though.

The marketplace will determine the value / need for consultants.

Consulting is looking better and better to me. The market is quite frustrating - lots of quoting and few sales. There has to be a way to make this industry fun again!

We are discussing charging fees instead of getting a commission on policies.

Any other agents just charging fees? Seems like it might change the way our clients view us.
