Hi, anyone has market for auto insurance for local trucking who haul sand and gravel for hire? It is 6 trucks and unspecified trailer coverage needed. Last insurance lapsed 6 months ago. I need to close them ASAP. Thanks.

AMcom, Progressive. I thought I heard Safeco will do them but I am not 100% sure about that.

Still awaiting on reply from Amcom and Century National.

AIG, Carolina Casualty, Crum & Forster, National Indemnity, Colony, Great American, Scootsdale, Northland and Stratford.
How is that for a list? We have sand and gravel haulers with all of them. And, believe it or not, Unitrin will write them.

This is a hard market and placement is difficult, you need to know all DMV requirements and understand warehouseman exposures. You must know simi (trucker trailer) what they haul where they haul and be very careful or you will get burn. This is a highly specialize market. Good luck 8)

I called them and they don't do primary liability. Any other idea? Anyone?
