Call Stroud out of New Mexico; they're friends of mine and may be able to take it.

You're kidding me. In California horses are factored into the risk? In IL, I don't see any carriers that care. All they care about are dogs.

I have a few markets that can fit this I can do regular HO-3 form with an animal exclusion or I can do it as a farm package. There is more than one option for a risk like this again my name is Matt and you can contact me at Abram Interstate 916-780-7000.

Independent guy, True story happen in Bishop Ca. Horse got out of pasture private property. Simple walk out on to hwy 395 and Total the car ( no one died) Thank the Lord. I would say with what experience I have with live stock 75% of the animal keepers are very poor at fencing

Matt, there is not a single HO-3 admitted carrier in CA that will write this Risk. The entire risk centers around Liability, why would you offer and animal exclusion? You're asking for E & O claim and time in court regardless of any exclusion. And yes there are several carriers that will exclude like Pacific Specialty, Travelers, Allied, Hartford. :?

That makes sense... I once drove up on a wreck where a horse got out and a drunk driver hit it. It was horrible, because the horse kept trying to get up on a compound fracture and needed to be put down immediately... I almost felt bad for the drunk driver, because no sober person would have been able to stop either quickly enough either.

So how exactly are horse farms covered in California? Does anybody write hobby farms out there?

Cal-Farm and Ranch, Allied Ins., Has a Farm Program I don't use it much not my bag. The Hartford has made exception for me in the past 4 or 5 horses
