Hi, i'm looking for a competitive market for a Fire Sprinkler contractor in CA. He is looking for GL coverage. His company does the design and installation for fire sprinkler's in buildings.

Please let me know if anyone has markets or recommendations. Thank you :)

Cover X/First Mercury through any Surplus LInes broker of good size. All-Risks, another surplus lines broker has a program as well. Professional through Socius Insurance.

Try Central Insurance Agency in Long Island, NY. George is the principal and has a program for Fire Sprinkler Contractors - 631-891-1100.

Thanks for your help so far :). I've already submitted it to CoverX and the min premium was over 20,000.

Now, i'm submitting it to a few others.

He does mainly commercial... but some residential. Do you know of any other markets?

The residential work is what is driving up your premium. And Fire Sprinkler guys do have a more frequent loss history than some other classes of contractors. Everest might take a look at it for you, and they can sometimes provide the combination GL/PL policy that your risk will need, if he is doing the design work.
