Vacant Dwelling with Open Claim in CA

OK, guys....I need your help.

I need fire and liability for a single family, vacant dwelling in California. Dwelling has been vacant for over a year and there is an open liability claim (wrongful eviction, $15,000 in reserves - not yet settled and won't be for at least another year) at this location. Fair Plan is getting off of it due to the length of the vacancy. Insured decided to go bare on the liability due to a quote received last year for $3500. (Gotham Ins. Co.). Any suggestions? Thanks!

Foremost is writing vacant dwellings... would have to run it by the UW's regarding the open claim.

Glad I could help. Between Sacramento (Natomas and Elk Grove suburbs) and Stockton... I am insuring way too many vacant dwellings these days. I would check with Abram Interstate regarding the liablity... I believe they have a Comprehensive Personal Liability program with USLI. If they won't do it... check out mymga.com
