If you have any suggestions for a market or broker that will write coverage for a crane and miscellaneous equipment for a dockbuilder, please respond ASAP.

One crane, used over water, value of $35K. An additional $10-15K of misc. tools and equipment. New business but experienced partners (I have resumes to proove this point).

Known u/w's such as St. Paul Travelers, Great Amer., Fire Fund, have all declined.

There are no admitted carriers in CA, that will write that Risk. Go to Swett & Crawford or email Janet_Grove@swett.com If your not
already appointment, do it. They have a lot of captured carriers. ;)

For Cranes over water (used in building bridges and tunnels etc) try http://www.iiigroup.com/ (Insurance Innovators). I used to write a lot of cranes with them.
They might be able to help.
