We currently write with Service Lloyds, but once they found out majority of the workers are based outside of the state, they got off of it.

This insured installs and repairs equipment in processing plants (poultry, beef, etc.). They use stick welders to work on equipment. Also install other types of things such as air and water lines, etc.

We've gotten back several declinations because they do some occassional work over 40ft on catwalks (pipe fitting).

Anyone have any ideas?

You can go to Texs Mutual and they can write a companion out of state policy through Argonaut.

There should be multiple PEO markets that will take this risk. Please reach out to me if you are unfamiliar with the PEO market place and I can help you in finding a great option.

Have you considered a Professional Employer Organization (PEO)? SOI has locations in Dallas, Houston, Austin and San Antonio as well locations across the country, but we can cover anyone in the U.S. We do a lot to help out small and medium businesses with their workers' compensation insurance. If you would like more information, visit http://www.soi.com

All Risks, Ltd. could help write the whole risk without having them join a PEO.
