Extended Business Income Commerical Property

Many carriers are now offering 18-24 months of extended BI, and many lenders are now requiring same. If an insured has purchased Building Ordinance A/B/C does the extended BI respond? Most carriers go glassy eyed, drool, and mumble about "finding out". Hint most do NOT extend coverage at all to Ordinace issues. There is an ISO endorsement that can be added, but most won't do it. Anyone with a "special carrier"?

Respond it what way? I write more CAT coverage than straight all -risk, and just can't think of a scenario where the Building Ordinance would come into play for an EPOI loss?
