I am nearing the end of the first half of my CPCU and trying to decide on personal vs Commercial for the remaining 3 courses. I'm trying to find material or opinions on which way to go, and would love to read any information or advice. I tend to be leaning toward commerical currently.
Thanks for any input.

Re: Commercial vs Personal CPCU
It depends on what's your planned carrer path. Assuming you're a producer or CSR, I'd say go commercial if your personal & commercial split is 50-50. The chances that you'll need such in depth knowledge for personal line is low, unless you want to become an underwriter yourself.
Re: Commercial vs Personal CPCU
Commercial has more relevant information in general and is more beneficial. I am going commercial and the 553 is all about personal insurance and retirement. I think it gives a great overview of personal insurance in general and as much as you really need to know. The other 2 courses for commercial are more indepth (liability & property). I think commercial is the way to go.
