Help Finding Car Insurance Average Coverage Stats?

I was wondering if anyone might be able to help me with an insurance question regarding automobile policy statistics. Ive been trying to find the average amount of insurance people are buying in all 50 states. Like what's the average rate of insurance/coverage people tend to buy in there state. What would be the best way to go about gathering that data? Ive tried contacting insurance companies and insurance comission but they all say they dont have that data. Can anyone point me in the write direction, even if the data is for sale? Thanks.

Have you tried the Insurance Information Institute (iii.org)? Or the NAIC also sells industry information.
