I'm agent in upstate NY. I'm looking to work with Insurance Aggregator. I was wondering if anyone has any success with them.
I'm also looking to retain my book. I'm not interested any program that I would have to buy back my book from.

Re: Aggregator
You can find a list of aggregators by going to our website linked below, you will find it under agency resource directories.

Re: Aggregator
In my experience most aggregators want you to roll your existing book in. Of course they may make a provision that you don't have to buy it back when/if you chose to leave the fold. Consider that the aggregator acquires 'swag' with their insurance carriers by 'controlling' large blocks of business.
Basically the law of large numbers apply, similar to a large agency versus a small mom & pop agency. Normally the large agency has better 'terms' with the carrier due to their larger premium volumes. In a Best Review comparison a regional aggregator listed all premiums in that group as their premium volume. It seems that once you join, you are absorbed into the collective. Best of success in your search!

Re: Aggregator
Are their any aggregators that don't charge a monthly fee?
