Is AIG auditing USLH for yourclients already carrying P &

Seems AIG auditors may be unfamiliar with P&I/MEL coverage and are picking up payroll for captain & crew members on the WC policy, charging them w/USLH rate. Not only did the auditor do this, but he never inquired of the insured (a marine contracting firm) "Do you have a P & I policy?". When the audit was disputed and AIG was informed of P & I exposure/coverage, the auditor refused to adjust the audited premium. Anyone else's client being double charged?
