Will California Insurance Commissioner John Garamendi make Lt. Governor in 2006?

You elected and reelected Gray Davis as governor, in spite of his dismal record, right? How could Garamendi as Lt. Governor be any different.

I do not think he will beat McClintock. He has a little name recognition and not much else. Luckily the uneducated voters tend to stay home if there is not a presidential election.

McClintock has name recognition? From the people who remember the old John Wayne movie by that same name?
