I am part of a BNI group and I am planning to make a little commercial mentioning my BNI team members in my New Years Marketing. Do you think customers and prospects will take it as ok or they will be pissed? :)

Rhetorical Questions:

--Are they marketing you in their materials?

--What is the format and content of your marketing?

--Does the addition of unrelated businesses add to or detract from the value of the piece to you and to your audience?

I suggest that the fact you have to ask this question means it does not feel right to you. Follow your gut. Nobody knows your clients and prospects like you do.

Dude,

You are an insurance agent and should be damn proud of that! I am. People expect you to solicit them for insurance. I would do the same thing at a New Years party. The only problem I have is I already insure everyone at the party I am going to.

Scott,

Your back! We have not heard from you in awhile.

Sorry, I did not read your post clearly before. I would not do that. I don't know about you but, our agency has a lot of customers that are in the real estate business. I think it would offend them.
