I work on the carrier side and am considering a job offer in a different department. I'm trying to find the best tool to determine if the salary is fair based on my location, experience and education. I've tried several of the popular sites (glassdoor, payscale, salary, etc) but none seem to get too specific. Any suggestions?

Which department are you thinking about moving in to? You might want to look at professional associations for the discipline.
