How is CSE Safeguard in California?

Is anyone appointed with them in California? If so, how is doing business with them? Are they competitive for home and auto insurance?
How do they compare to your other preferred carriers?

That's like asking 'where should I have dinner?'
CSE is a long time, preferred/standard carrier offering a full line of personal lines products, along with some small commercial offerings.
Competitive? Well, you'll just have to use the comparative rater, enter some scenerios for your local marketing area and see how it goes. They've been around a long time and have a couple of niche discounts that can make them very competitive if the risk has the attributes...but, as always, your mileage may and probably will vary.
