I plan on starting my own agency. My current agency uses Tam. I've read several threads regarding different management systems. "thank you, great help" but has anyone had any experience (good/bad) with a system called Doris?

Looked up Doris, never heard of it before, then again, I've never been an Applied user, always AMS. It says it's affordable and has the stuff you will need for your small business. Why don't you give it a whirl and let us know how it turned out?

Our agency has been using Doris for many years now. Doris is now officially called "Agent's Choice". I think it's also owned by the same company who markets TAM. We also spent a few months a while ago to evaluate TAM, but eventually stayed with Doris. As far as I can tell, TAM has more "real time" capability, is more powerful in generating reports possibly for marketing purposes, more friendly in issuing certs etc. But I think Doris is more than enough if you are just start up.
