I am a license insurance broker located in New York. I am in the process of going on my own. I don't have a large book of business yet but I am trying and look for anyone who is looking to sell their books. I sell Personal lines and Commercial.

What I need is advice on getting loans/grants to help me start this agency. Is there anyone that can help give me advice.

The time to look for money is before you went out on your own. Now that you are there, it may be tough to get financial support. When I started, I used all the available credit on my credit cards. It wasn't easy, but if you watch your expenses, you wil make it. Good luck.
