Any time I see an agent being sued my ears perk up. Apparently her son was a passenger in the 'at fault vehicle'. I'm curious what kind of special coverage she's claiming wasn't included in the policy--Med Pay? UM?

Wouldn't BI just kick in since he was the passenger; therefore considered a 3rd party? Perhaps the driver's limits were too low. I believe FL requires $10k personal injury protection so that's nothing, especially if more than 1 person was injured.

Most policies contain a family member exclusion for BI.
