Okay guys I got my E&O and got some big contracts comming. I will soon be, not only an agent, but a P&C agent!!! I been trying to decide if P&C is for me, but after 2 weeks of over 25 calls a week I have decided to take the dive..... I hope to get a P&C agent by July, but for now the change is welcome. I get tired of health, life, and annuities.... I now have agents for that... I am just so excited to finally have CAR & HOUSE insurance at my agency... I can hopefully soon have an agent to sell home and auto, and I sell what I am bread to sell...
Thanks for all your help. I know I'll need much more in the next few months,
Clint

I find it rather humurous that the person with the screen name yoyowordup is correcting grammar. Funny, really.

I find it amazing that this public forum (meaning more than agents view it) can have licensed professionals that see no problem titling a post what this newbie decided to use. Not exactly what I would want my customers to see me doing. We have enough bad press in this industry, lets not make it worse.

I agree. Perhaps I'm just being a fuddy-duddy, but in my opinion the title of this particular post is offensive and juvenile. If you plan to be successful in the insurance industry, I recommend you take a more professional approach and save such comments for the porn sites. I am sure that somewhere on this forum there are guidelines and rules about posting offensive material or comments. If not, there should be. With all that aside, let me step down from my soapbox and wish "clozer" was it (??).....a successful leap into the insurance industry.

Same here.

I've been guilty of the same thing. Actually using the same damn phrase... In this business, you have to be a boring person who doesn't take risks. "Risk is the spice of life" and spices can upset stomachs, right?

Edit: This reminds me of a billboard ad in town for a cafe, featuring what looked like a painting of sperm swimming into a cup of coffee. The ad agency took a huge risk with the ad, but it paid off bigtime. I'll never forget the ad, or the cafe Espresso Royale. And its the same way for the other people who've seen the ad. I don't think there's anything wrong with getting a little bit of attention.
