So, sort of long story regarding my background that I will spare you guys. But I have an interview with a reinsurance company this week for an assistant underwriter position. I have no official background in insurance of any kind (recent grad). They know this, so it's not my desire to go in there looking like a seasoned vet, but I'd like to not look like the total noob I am, either.
I know that they primarily (but not exclusively) work with companies that are making self-insured health plans.
So, what I am hoping for is advice on what to research/talking points for the interview. I am not asking anyone to do my work for me or put words in my mouth, but I don't even know what to look for. If you were applying for such a job, what are some questions you would have/why would you have those questions?
Thanks a lot, everybody.
