Hi. I'm considering getting into the insurance business as an independent agent in Ohio, but before I do, I'd like to have a better understanding of what commission landscape looks like. In particular, I'm interested in the commission rates and structure for different companies for the following types of policies:
Auto "" New
Auto "" Renewal
Home "" New
Home "" Renewal
I realize that these are very broad categories, but ballpark rates are really what I'm looking for. I appreciate your time and input. Thanks.
