An associate broker in FINEX cyber team manages the day-to-day servicing of large and complex accounts working in conjunction with other brokers; develops business relationships with producers and internal resources; negotiates with underwriters regarding coverage terms, conditions and pricing on new and renewal accounts; prepares quotes, cover notes and worksheets; supports new business opportunities; and verifies accuracy of insurance documentation.

The Role:

  • Support a book of business by performing day to day client service tasks
  • Responsibility for creation and design of renewal strategy documents for client presentations focusing on the design, marketing and placement of cyber insurance programs
  • Analysis and reporting on the risk profiles of client’s unique finance, regulatory, and legal exposures
  • Facilitate communication between broker teams and underwriters during client renewal cycles
  • Provide support for new business opportunities including expanding relationships with current clients, participating in the preparation and response for Requests for Proposals, and general prospecting support
  • Support, present and further develop FINEX cyber analytical tools
  • Participate and lead client meetings including Renewal Strategy Presentations, Underwriter Meetings, Renewal Update Conference Calls and Post-Renewal Reviews
  • Develop relationships with Producers, Client Advocates and Client Relationship Directors within the geographic region
  • Be proficient in Willis Towers Watson compliance and best practices
  • Regularly utilize Willis Towers Watson tools and resources
  • Prepares draft proposals, submissions and quotes
  • Follows up with insurance carriers and underwriters regarding the status of quotes and provides any additional information or rates as necessary
  • Maintains business relationships with producers and underwriters
  • Maintains knowledge of insurance carriers and their business practices
  • Responsibly represent WTW as a colleague within the FINEX Cyber Practice


The Requirements:

  • 1-3 Years of Professional Experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
  • Understanding of Finance and Accounting
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with challenging deadlines
  • Intellectual curiosity to learn and become proficient in FINEX insurance products
  • Ability to work productively and collaboratively in a team setting
  • Solid presentation skills – written and oral
  • Demonstrates knowledge of core insurance principles & provide explanation to clients
  • Ability to conduct research
  • Understanding of required placement workflows
  • Ability to deal with difficult client situations
  • Demonstrates knowledge of insurance structures
  • Insurance Broker’s P&C License Preferred
