Compensation Overview

The annual base salary range provided for this position is a nationwide market range and represents a broad range of salaries for this role across the country. The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment. As part of our comprehensive compensation and benefits program, employees are also eligible for performance-based cash incentive awards.

Salary Range

$49,300.00 - $81,400.00

What Is the Opportunity?

The Conference Services Team (CST) manages an inventory of rooms located across Hartford, St. Paul and Claim University campuses. The team ensures space is being utilized to its full capacity to streamline coordinating logistics. As a member of the team you will partner with our customers to understand the needs of each request and manage the entire process from start to finish including booking appropriate space, organizing logistics for setup, and ensuring the client has connected with AV support. As a Conference Services Facilities Coordinator you will be responsible for coordinating all conference room facility related requests and room setup needs while creating a world class experience in support of all events. In this role you will collaborate with the Conference Services Team and other respective groups (Audio Visual, Corporate Security, Corporate Real Estate, External Contractors, etc) to carry out the day-to-day events and activities required to drive the daily floor operation while maximizing efficiencies and streamlining operational processes where possible.

What Will You Do?

  • Actively monitor Scheduling Tool to setup event spaces to agreed upon specifications, remaining flexible to changes and cooperative within the scope of reasonable accommodations.
  • Ensure all meeting room spaces are in order and clean to provide an effective meeting environment.
  • Drive enhanced, white-glove experience for event participants, tour participants, and all building guests, including pre-and post-evaluation and support.
  • Be proficient in space management, understanding room capacities in various configurations, and utilizing safety management strategies.
  • Continued improvement and refinement of facility needs with partnership with CBRE, CRE, Corporate Security, ICS Tech Support, and Leadership.
  • Effectively resolve amenities-related issues to enhance the user experience.
  • Claim U Only: Manage loading dock logistics and operations (ie inbound and outbound deliveries) and helps maintains the exquisite appearance of the CU campus, including the labs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


What Will Our Ideal Candidate Have?

  • Associate’s degree.
  • Experience in conference center operations.
  • Ability to manage variety of projects simultaneously to ensure their timely, accurate, and high-quality completion.
  • Ability to prioritize, schedule, and monitor a high volume of tasks.
  • Communicate thoughts, actions, and opportunities clearly to work effectively with internal clients and external resources.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early morning and late nights.


What is a Must Have?

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • One year of relevant work experience.
