The Cyber/E&O Broking serves as a resource for all aspects of WTW’s Cyber/E&O Commercial Practice in a regional area. The selected candidate will be a resource for complex technical coverage and placement issues; be responsible for the retention and growth of the book of business and manage of a team of brokers with diverse experiences.

The Role




  • Makes significant contributions to new business opportunities to achieve growth goals and retention of existing client base

  • Acts as a thought leader (e.g., contributes to Cyber/E&O content, attends industry conferences as a WTW representative)

  • Conducts regular meetings with clients to ensure WTW is meeting their requirements and supporting their needs throughout the life of the renewal and placement cycle

  • Leads a team and provides leadership and mentoring to a team of brokers

  • Client facing in a senior resource role and personally handles large and complex accounts

  • Advises clients on strategies and provides expertise on complicated business issues and solutions

  • Participates in RFP responses and presentations; attends proactive sales meetings and works on growth opportunities for the Cyber team

  • Identifies and engages appropriate local and national resources for clients

  • Assists in establishing placement strategy

  • Continual training and mentoring of Cyber team

  • Helps recruit, motivate, mentor and manage team members



The Requirements



  • Minimum 10 years of experience in the insurance sector
  • Knowledge of product lines including but not limited to Cyber and E&O
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation and influencing skills
  • Excellent leadership skills, with a proven track record of developing people
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence within a matrix environment
  • Strong facilitation skills and presentation skills – able to use inclusive and collaborative styles to manage ambiguity and gain agreement
  • Ability to act as an ambassador for the Company
  • Technical knowledge of insurance contracts/structure and highly collaborative
  • Ability to provide expert, in-depth advice to client resulting in overall client satisfaction
  • Bachelor’s level degree required - advanced degree preferred
  • Licenses as required by state law
