Job Description
The Quality Insights function is responsible for actively measuring overall claim handling focusing on our ability to execute consistently and achieve quality and operational excellence. The Quality Assurance team will serve as the backbone of the Claims measurement system - accountable for measuring effectiveness and consistency, identifying strengths and opportunities for continuous improvement, conducting strategic analysis, and informing the development of processes. This may include collaboration with Claims Design and Delivery Leadership. By facilitating the development of appropriate quality assurance practices, it will support Allstate in achieving key business outcomes that remain in compliance with laws and regulations. This position will also work independently, prioritize own responsibilities, and manage own workload while consistently meeting band level behaviors, production, quality and/or customer service goals.

Compensation
Compensation offered for this role is $66,800.00 - 120,650.00 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities:
File Review/Quality Assurance
Performs oversight to ensure adherence to current estimating and file handling standards
Performs claim reviews including targeted and transactional reviews
Collaborates regarding file review results Participates and may lead in calibration activities with the Claims organization
Demonstrates knowledge in claims business acumen and is able to connect overall claim handling
Communication
Provides coaching and feedback regarding file and claim handling quality to business partners
Customer Service
Makes and maintains a connection with the customer by understanding and meeting their needs; serves the customer with empathy; and follows up to ensure that customer needs have been met
Other Projects and Responsibilities
May participate in one or more complex or occasionally highly complex special assignments
May serve as a committee team lead for large projects or as a committee team member on very large projects
Experience:
5+ years of Property Claims experience (technical experience is preferred)
Experience in multiple claim segments and prior experience participating in special projects preferred
Experience in Excel, PowerPoint, Quality Measurement Tool (QMT) Dashboards is required
Functional Skills:
Ability to interact effectively, interacting effectively, with business partners including Claims Senior Leadership
Applies advanced knowledge of insurance policy, coverage and regulation
Applies advanced knowledge of claims processes, policies, procedures, claim systems, coverage liability, damage evaluation, and/or settlement and adherence to applicable legal compliance standards
Applies advanced industry knowledge to discipline practices, including best practices, to support the business unit
Applies advanced consultation and claims expertise in business discussions
Applies advanced conflict management and problem resolution skills in managing internal and external relationships
Applies advanced problem-solving skills to continuously improve business outcomes
Ability to assist leadership in achieving business unit objectives
Works with moderate assignments requiring specialized knowledge in breadth and/or depth in area of claims expertise
