- Effectively conduct sales center new hire training related to product knowledge, sales skills, and systems usage
- Effectively partner with the Sales Vertical leadership teams by engaging in a regular meeting and communication cadence
- Evaluate training requests and provide guidance and direction regarding content development and quarterly training plans
- Advocate for sales agents by demonstrating strong working knowledge of the agent experience as it relates to the tools and resources required to do their job
- Facilitate additional ongoing employee training as needed
- Partner with training team and sales leadership for dynamic program delivery with an energetic and engaging style
- Partner with Performance Managers to coach and engage agents on sales floor as directed
- Coordinate with HR, trainers, and sales leadership to optimize the trainee experience
- Regularly facilitate and conduct training at a senior level with minimal oversight
- Mentor, coach and oversee Sales Trainers and other facilitators as directed
- Other projects and duties as assigned by sales and training leadership
What you need to be successful:
- Demonstrated strong working knowledge of MA, Med Sup, Life, or Supplemental insurance
- Ability to professionally navigate and communicate change, differences in opinion and direction
- Demonstrated success in creating and driving strategic planning and execution of training programs
- 3 years of demonstrated success as a sales trainer or in a closely related training role
- The ability to deliver engaging training 8-10 hours per day consistently
- Effective written and verbal communication skills with in-person and remote teams
- Experience in a fast-paced sales or result-oriented environment
- A driven, get-it-done attitude and the ability to adapt to changing needs of the business
- Proficiency with PowerPoint, Microsoft Office and other job-related tools and technology
- The ability to travel overnight regularly as needed by air and car
