Job Description

The Supplier Diversity/Sustainability Manager is responsible for the integration of supplier diversity and sustainability best practices throughout the corporation. The manager develops and manages diverse supplier and non-profit alliances that contribute to the achievement of Allstate's business objectives.



  • Develop a deep understanding of current and future needs of the procurement organization with regards to supplier diversity.



  • Collaborate with sourcing team, and key suppliers in the areas of supplier diversity and sustainability to form reliable, long-term, strategic, and mutually beneficial business relationships for suppliers and non-profits.



  • Manage diverse supplier registration process, working with suppliers to ensure diverse business profiles of suppliers are reviewed and shared with sourcing.



  • Identify key strategic suppliers with whom to establish strategic alliances beyond their existing contractual agreements to report on their sustainability activities and serve as point person for those identified suppliers.



  • Act as the point person for multiple large, medium-to-high complexity, and/or business-critical relationships with diverse suppliers and nonprofits with responsibility for the relationships’ overall success.



  • Measure and report on the economic value of diverse business and non-profit partnerships.



  • Manage 2nd tier Program, training, communications and work with supplier partners to ensure compliance and tracking of 2nd tier results.



  • Responsible for gathering and accessing diverse supplier data globally to feed into internal and external reporting and forecasting work, as well as Supplier Diversity Power BI dashboard, and regulatory compliance, and advocacy group reporting.



  • Develop Supplier Diversity scorecard metrics to support the business needs, measuring success and ensuring tools and data are available to track and report on program goals.



  • Work collaboratively with a delivery team of Data Engineers, BI developers and Data Scientists to design and deliver products that provide the insights our stakeholders required to make strategic and tactical business decisions.



  • Analyze business results and develop strategic plans to reach supplier diversity and sustainability goals.



  • Be accountable for the end-to-end delivery of products on supplier diversity across the procurement organization.



  • Responsible for working with 3rd party supplier on reporting, data cleansing and scorecards activities as needed.



  • Validate and consolidate complex data from multiple sources, both internal and external, while transforming them into simple, relevant, and actionable insights



  • Support Procurement Analytics team with other data reporting needs and projects



  • Provide reporting on diverse supplier and non-profit relationships, as requested.



  • Coordinate and facilitate in-house and external supplier diversity and sustainability events.



  • Proficiently capture and summarize stakeholder needs and goals in clear and concise themes and user stories.



  • Maintain the user stories in a prioritized backlog and effectively divide overall project goals into prioritized deliverables for sequential and focused progress.



  • Position location is US remote.



Education

·        4 year Bachelor’s Degree (Preferred)

 ·       7 or more years of experience (Preferred)

Compensation

Compensation offered for this role is $78,600.00 - 142,275.00 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.

The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation, which includes a drug screen.
