Compensation Overview

The annual base salary range provided for this position is a nationwide market range and represents a broad range of salaries for this role across the country. The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment. As part of our comprehensive compensation and benefits program, employees are also eligible for performance-based cash incentive awards.

$60,200.00 - $99,400.00

What Is the Opportunity?

This is a position supporting the Commercial Accounts Group on financial reporting and analytics. This individual will be responsible for providing accurate and timely financial reporting and analysis on monthly, quarterly and ad hoc requests, supporting four unique business units. To be successful in this role, it is important that the candidate have strong technical skills to produce monthly/quarterly reports as well as enhance and build new reporting needs to support evolving business needs. The candidate should also be able to understand and analyze the numbers to identify key findings. Additionally, the ideal candidate will regularly seek out efficiencies to further streamline reporting and processes.

What Will You Do?

• Prepare, evaluate, and validate financial and operational reports.
• Analyze, interpret, and validate trends and variances in business performance, while partnering with cross functional peers on limited basis.
• Synthesize and present exhibits, results, and observations to direct manager and team members.
• Support your financial partners in the preparation of analyses to support business strategy.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What Will Our Ideal Candidate Have?

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or professional designations such as CPA, CMA or comparable advanced professional education.


• Knowledge of Financial Analysis concepts and processes, and accounting practices and principles.


• Written and verbal communication skills with the ability to pay attention to detail and effectively covey information.


• Ability to leverage analytical skills access and gather data, and understanding of what the data represents.


• Experience using Microsoft Office (e.g., Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and Financial Reporting Software (e.g., TM1, Essbase, Hyperion, etc.).


• Working knowledge of the insurance industry.


• Time management/ prioritization skills and ability to solve problems and make recommendations.


• Takes responsibility for decisions and actions.


• Intermediate project management skills.


• Ability to identify customers needs and take appropriate actions while working within tight timeframes and deadlines.

What is a Must Have?

• Bachelor’s Degree in finance, accounting, related degree or equivalent experience.
