Job Summary



We're seeking a Technology Lead for Health & Benefits (H&B) Market Facing Technology, also known as H&B Technology Solutions. H&B Technology Solutions provides a combination of brokerage, advisory, and support services with market leading technology to delivery intelligent, data-driven benefits experiences to employers and employees worldwide.

In this role as the Technology Lead, you will lead multiple technology teams responsible for the development and maintenance of products utilized by WTW clients. You will also collaborate with other WTW business and sales leaders around the world to develop strategies for our technology offerings spanning benefits flexibility and choice, decision support, simplified benefits management, AI-enabled data analytics, and real-time operational insights.

Job Responsibilities:




  • Lead and manage teams of software engineering and product development colleagues across multiple H&B technology systems.

  • Work with H&B and Global Benefits Management (GBM) to shape the value proposition for H&B Technology Solutions.

  • Define and communicate strategy to H&B technology colleagues and the business at large.

  • Work with H&B region leaders to define technologies to include in go-to-market strategy percountry, combining our suite of internal tools with 3rd party partners as appropriate.

  • Work with the Employee Experience (EX) team to represent H&B technology needs relative to the Embark product suite.

  • Lead roadmap definition and product development and delivery for Benefits Access, Benefits Insights, and other client-facing solutions.

  • Be accountable for definition and communication of SDLC within the suite of H&B client-facing products.

  • Guide the architecture and design of H&B client-facing technology systems.

  • Evaluate and adopt new technologies and methodologies to enhance the capabilities and performance of technology offerings.

  • Partner with other leaders across Data Platform and Colleague-Facing Technology to ensure strategic alignment across all pillars of H&B Technology.

  • Represent and advocate for H&B needs to other technology teams across Employee Experience, Information Security, and Cloud/Infrastructure.

  • Lead and execute plans for the H&B Technology Transformation Program in 2024 to successful completion.

  • Coordinate roadmap to match the overarching WTW AI strategies, spanning H&B's products and services.

  • Create and guide strategies to assist sellers in H&B and GBM with regards to technology and its role in sales and client relationship management.

  • Bridge the gap between business and technology, understanding business needs and how technology can solve them.



Job Requirements



  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • At least 10 years of experience in leading multiple technology and product development teams, preferably in Health and Benefits industry sectors like benefits enrollment, actuarial, insurance, or consulting.
  • At least 5 years of experience leading technical projects or managing technical colleagues
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to foster relationships with business leaders, clients, and technology teams.

Compensation and Benefits



Base salary range and benefits information for this position are being included in accordance with requirements of various state/local pay transparency legislation. Please note that base salaries may vary for different individuals in the same role based on several factors, including but not limited to location of the role, individual competencies, education/professional certifications, qualifications/experience, performance in the role and potential for revenue generation (Producer roles only).

Compensation



The base salary compensation range being offered for this role is $150,000-$220,000 USD per year.

This role is also eligible for an annual short-term incentive bonus.

Please note: Producer Sales roles are not currently eligible for the WTW Pension Plan.
