Anticipating a larger combined volume, shared markets access, added services and growth potential, Armstrong/Robitaille Business and Insurance Services acquired Neumarket Insurance Services.
Neumarket Insurance Services which opened its doors in 1977, writes workers’ comp and other coverages. Armstrong/ Robitaille was established in 1979. It is one of the largest independent insurance brokerage firms and ranks among the top 100 nationwide. InsureZone, Higginbotham
Higginbotham & Associates, a large, established insurance agency based in the Dallas area, agreed to merge with San Francisco-based InsureZone (www.insurezone.com) later this year, pending regulatory approval.

According to J. Russell Reid, Higginbotham’s president and CEO, the combination of the two companies offers customers the best of e-commerce and traditional agency service.

InsureZone, funded by a variety of parties including Buena Venture Associates and Texas financier Sid R. Bass, allows consumers and businesses to comparison-shop and purchase policies online.
