The IBA San Fernando Valley and Greater Los Angeles/BGP I Day is scheduled for April 6 at the Sheraton Universal in Universal City, Calif. Contact Ann Oliver, (800) 772-8998.

The Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers announced April 9 as the date of the “I” Day in Orange County. The conference is set to take place at the Hilton Hotel in Costa Mesa, Calif. It will feature CE classes, keynote speakers and industry vendor exhibits. “Run for the Goal” is the theme this year and exhibitors are encouraged to decorate their booths using an Olympic decor. The Insurance Brokers & Agents of the West has scheduled its 18th Annual Blue Ribbon Conference to take place on the Kohala Coast of the Big Island of Hawaii, May 2-6. The Blue Ribbon Conference is hosted by IBA West and allows top industry and company executives a chance to meet and mingle. The Latin American Agents Association 5th Annual Feria de Seguros at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Long Beach, Calif., is scheduled for May 6-9. Highlights will include educational seminars and credited courses covering issues related to life, commercial, health and auto insurance. John Garamendi and other industry leaders have been invited to speak at this year’s general session meetings. The 29th Annual Young Agents & Brokers Conference will be held at the Hyatt Regency Monterey in Monterey, Calif., June 3-5. The Western States Surplus Lines Conference “Mountains to Climb” is scheduled to take place July 21-23 at Harvey’s Resort and Casino in South Lake Tahoe, Nev. Dick Bouhan, executive director of the National Association of Professional Surplus Lines Offices will moderate a panel discussions on regulation, with a focus on state vs. federal. The ACIC XV Annual General Counsel Seminar will feature insightful speakers and informative panels presenting up-to-date overviews of issues affecting insurers who write business in California. The American Agents Alliance Conference and Expo 2004 scheduled for Sept. 28-30 will be held at the Renaissance Esmeralda Resort and Spa in Indian Wells, Calif. Participants have a chance to discuss current insurance issues, participate in the
