Polite Pisces
(20 February – 20 March)

Pisceans modestly consider themselves to be the most sensible and responsible drivers on the road, with a relatively confident and considerate approach to handling the perils of fellow drivers. This positive attitude apparently pays off-they recorded one of the lowest numbers of claims for accidental damage. Star driver: Ralph Nader, Alan Greenspan, John Steinbeck.

Aggressive Aries
(21 March – 20 April)

Maintaining an even temper behind the wheel seems to be quite a challenge for Aries drivers-a third admitted they frequently become aggressive and impatient with other drivers. Curiously, they also declare themselves to be the smartest and safest drivers. But with one of the highest number of claims records amongst the group, that claim could be argued. Star driver: Quentin Tarantino, Pope Benedict the XVI, Marcel Marceau, Vincent Van Gogh.

Tight Taurus
(21 April – 21 May)

Bulls proved solid and steady. Taurus drivers appear to be a relatively safe bet on the road reporting an average number of claims across all areas. But hold on to your hats, despite an impressive safety record, Taurus drivers confessed to a passion for speed. Star driver: Sadam Hussein, Ryan Leaf, David Beckham, Tony Blair.

Judicious Gemini
(22 May – 21 June)

Gemini drivers consider themselves to be safe, sensible and considerate behind the wheel behaving responsibly and patiently towards fellow drivers. This correlates with them reporting the lowest level of claims. But while twin one portrays a vision of calm, twin two needs to pay more attention to security because they also report the highest number of claims for theft. Star driver: Allen Iverson, F. Lee Bailey, Bob Dylan, John F. Kennedy, Henry Kissinger.

Carefree Cancer
(22 June – 23 July)

Cancers believe themselves to be responsible and considerate drivers, but the number of insurance claims reported tells a different story. This birth sign reports the highest number of claims overall. Star driver: Mike Tyson, OJ Simpson, Donald Rumsfeld, George W. Bush.

Lighted Leo
(24 July – 23 August)

Perhaps better suited to the open plains than the open road, Leo drivers are hot on the heels of Cancer with the second highest number of overall insurance claims. Passengers should buckle up and prepare for the rage of a lion-Leos were found to be the fastest and most impatient of drivers. Star driver: Kobe Bryant, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Wynona Rider, Osama Bin Laden, Bill Clinton.

Volatile Virgo
(24 August – 23 September)

Two out of three Virgo drivers admit to lack confidence behind the wheel, and 25 percent say they are hesitant and easily distracted. So, it’s no surprise to find that Virgo drivers top the list of those reporting an accident for which they were responsible. But overall Virgo drivers possess an average claims record and other drivers could learn from a near perfect security record. Star driver: Michael Jackson, Jason Priestley,,Chris Tucker.

Lucid Libra
(24 September – 23 October)

Along with an alleged levelheaded nature, Libra drivers have an average claims history. Libras proved to be dependable and safe on the road. Star driver: Charlie Brown, Teresa Heinz Kerry, F. Scott Fitzgerald.

Snappy Scorpio
(24 October – 22 November)

The sting of the Scorpio driver is clear from the number claims made-amongst the highest of the group. Scorpio drivers confessed impatience towards other drivers on the road, evident from an above average number of claims for accidental damage. Star driver: Hillary Rodham Clinton, Bill Gates, Count Dracula.

Serene Sagittarius
(23 November – 22 December)

With an honest characteristic, the archer shines on the road, second only to Gemini as the safest drivers. Sagittarius drivers also display an almost impeccable safety record. Their passengers can be at ease with a calm and composed Sagittarius at the wheel. Star driver: Bruce Lee, Sasquatch, Frank Sinatra.

Commanding Capricorn
(23 December – 20 January)

Calling themselves powerful and impatient, Goats are not a force to reckon with, especially in light of the fact that they reported one of the highest numbers of claims for accidental damage. Star drivers: Richard Nixon, Muhammad Ali, Benjamin Franklin.
