Scott J. Kipper has been named the new commissioner of the Nevada Division of Insurance, Dianne Cornwall, director of the Nevada Department of Business and Industry, announced.
Kipper will replace former Commissioner Alice Molasky Arman, who retired in 2008.
Previously, Kipper served as the insurance administrator in Oregon and as deputy commissioner at the Office of Health Insurance for the Louisiana Department of Insurance.
Kipper also served as senior regional director, state affairs, for America’s Health Insurance Plans.
