Good News

“This is good news for North Dakotans as they will soon have another option when it comes to purchasing individual and group health insurance. … Competition is critical to ensuring the highest quality of products at affordable prices.”

—North Dakota Insurance Commissioner Adam Hamm, responding to an announcement by Sanford Health Plan that the company had received its certificate of authority to sell individual and group health plans in North Dakota. Hamm said the insurance products and rates Sanford intends to offer in North Dakota still need to be approved. Once approved by the insurance department, Sanford Health Plan’s name will be added to the list of companies that sell individual and group health insurance policies in the state.
