Nuts & Bolts: Builders and Tradesmen’s Insurance Services is offering a new residential builders risk single shot and monthly reporting programs. Among the program’s features are: Instant on-line pricing for residential builders risk; New starts and remodels with coverage for existing structures if needed; A 121/2 percent commission rate; Building materials and supplies, equipment, machinery and fixtures when intended to become a permanent part of the structure are included in the job site limit. This includes: Insured’s own property and property for which the insured is legally responsible; Foundations and excavations, underground pipes and drains, paving, pilings and fences when intended to become a permanent part of the structure are included in the job site limit; Valuation of building or structure is replacement cost, including the contractor’s reasonable overhead and profit; Coverage can be provided for one’s construction trailers and contents when one reports the location and values along with the covered dwelling; Reporting options.

Dollars: Temporary structures up to $100,000; Temporary locations up to $25,000; Forms, Scaffolding, Falsework and Temporary Fences up to $100,000; Removal Expense up to $100,000.
