Nuts & Bolts: CEIS, Ltd. (Construction Equipment Insurance Services) announced a new “in-house” underwriting and binding facility for cranes and related construction equipment. CEIS provides an all-risks contractors’ equipment floater with an option to include riggers coverage. Boom and overload coverage is automatically included. CEIS has the ability to include real property (buildings, contents, etc.) to qualified accounts. The program supplements CEIS’ current facilities and programs for contractors’ equipment. The focus of the new program is small to medium-sized accounts.
Dollars: No minimum premium. Deductibles start at two percent, minimum of $5,000. The minimum riggers deductible is $2,500.
Carrier: “A” Rated.
States Available: All except Florida.
