Social Service Program
Nuts & Bolts: London American Risk Specialists Inc. is offering a Social Service Program written by an A.M. Best “A” rated carrier and includes general liability, professional liability, (including sexual abuse/molestation) property, non-owned auto, domestic social services with foreign exposure, kidnap and ransom, travel accident, international workers’ comp and foreign non-owned auto. Target classes to include for profit and not for profit; excellent for residential care facilities.

Dollars: Limits, $1 million to $3 million. Deductible varies by class.

Bed and Breakfast
Nuts & Bolts: Smith, Bell and Thompson and Swiss Re’s Commercial Insurance are offering a new program for Bed and Breakfast accounts. The Bed and Breakfast program is designed for the innkeeper industry. Target accounts include bed and breakfasts, country inns or cabin rentals. Bed and breakfasts serve only breakfast to overnight guests. A country inn serves breakfast to overnight guests, however, with a restaurant open to the public. The cabin rental is typically more than four habitational buildings located in close proximity on the same premises with one sleeping room per building and a common building where breakfast is served. These es-tablishments are usually individually owned and operated; hotel/motel franchises and national or regional chains are not eligible.

Carrier: Rated “A+” XV by A.M. Best. Non-admitted.
States: All except Missouri and Hawaii.
