Nuts & Bolts: Pinnacle Insurance’s ElectriciansMAX Program is designed for the needs of the electrical contractor. The program is endorsed by the California 9th District of the National Electrical Contractors Association.

High Performance Watercraft
Nuts & Bolts: American Reliable Insurance Co. provides coverage for vessels with speeds up to 120 miles per hour and with a value up to $300,000. Minimum premium is $500. Minimum deductible is $500.

Office Pac/Manufacturers Pac Plus
Nuts & Bolts: Travelers Select Accounts is now offering Technology Office Pac and Technology Manufacturers Pac Plus for the specialty technology market. The two new segments are a part of Master Pac, Travelers’ business owners’ policy for small commercial insurance. The programs cover the risks associated with small technology-focused businesses and provide two optional endorsements. The products address more than 25 specific coverage features, including denial of service attack and coverage extensions found in Travelers’ XTEND endorsement. Technology Office Pac is tailored for businesses such as computer consultants, software firms or Web site designers. Technology Manufacturers Pac Plus provides coverage for businesses that manufacture technology products. As part of the core Master Pac coverage offering, denial of service attack is designed to protect businesses from loss of revenue or income due to the necessary suspension of electronic computer operations caused by an attack that denies customers access to the business via the Internet. Denial of service attack provides insurance coverage up to $25,000 and is automatically attached to every technology account that has business income and extra expense coverage. It is also available for non-technology businesses up to a limit of $10,000.

Dollars: $2 million/$4 million general liability. Umbrella is $25 million.

High Value Vacant Dwelling Program
Nuts & Bolts: Abram Interstate Insurance Services Inc. in Rocklin, Calif., is offering a program for hard-to-place vacant dwellings, including higher value, old and new, coastal and inland in California. Coverage is written on a DP-3 or DP-1 form including extended coverage and vandalism available for most dwellings. Coverage options include on-premises theft, personal liability and medical payments. Coverage for personal effects up to 30 percent, adjacent structures — up to 30 percent, and CPL to $500,000 are available. Flexible deductibles and three, six and 12 month terms are available.

Dollars: Minimum coverage limit is $100,000.
Carrier: Rated “A++” XV by A.M. Best. Non-admitted.
