Sub-limited coverage for 1798* security breach; breach of statute including HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) and GLB (Gramm Leach Bliley Act of 1999); breach of confidence, or violation/infringement of any rights to privacy; and infringement of intellectual property rights, dress, cyber squatting, moral rights violations or any act of passing-off defamation. Negligent transmission of a computer virus, worm, logic bomb or Trojan horse also covered.

Coverage extends to past, present and future members and employees of the firm; heirs, executors and administrators of insureds. Claim includes civil, criminal, administrative or arbitration proceedings. No retention for disciplinary and grievance proceedings. Defense provided for claims alleging dishonest, fraudulent, criminal or malicious acts of omissions. Innocent partner protection. Coverage for reasonable legal fees and expenses for investigation or defense in a state licensing board proceeding.
Dollars: Up to $25 million; deductibles start at $1,000.
