Personal Umbrella – Hard-To-Place Clients
Market Detail: International Excess Agency Inc. offers several specialized personal umbrella policies for hard-to-place risks. High risk driver, farm and ranch owner and celebrity programs are available. High risk drivers are eligible for worldwide coverage limits up to $5 million with no retention on a true umbrella form; the program is available to households with up to 10 violations (maximum of two DUIs) or five accidents. Farm and ranch owners generating annual revenues of up to $1 million qualify for up to $10 million of protection with no limitation on acreage, grazing of livestock or number of locations. Program extends to include farm locations leased to others. Limited family partnerships as an additional insured are eligible and the form includes loss caused by personal injury. High-profile celebrities such as athletes, coaches, Fortune 500 executives, nationally recognized musicians, actors, entertainers, autors and other recognizable names are eligible for up to $10 million of protection. These high-profile clients are allowed an unlimited number of vehicles and one to four family dwellings; fenced swimming pool and boating exposures are also considered. Attachment points vary and none of these programs require a self-insured retention. Minimum premiums begin at $200.

Property Managers EPLI
Market Detail: Arrowhead Wholesale Insurance Services LLC offers an EPLI program aimed at property managers. Coverage is extended to include all owners, managers, directors and officers, employees and tenants of the covered properties. A broad definition of employee extends to include seasonal, voluntary, leased and temporary employees plus independent contractors. The definition of “Wrongful Acts” includes harassment, discrimination, retaliation, tenant discrimination, tenant harassment, wrongful eviction and other perils. Third party coverage is extended to include non-employees and tenants. The minimum premium for this program is $5,000; deductibles begin at $1,000.
