Robert Campeau

Irvine, Calif.-based SullivanCurtisMonroe Insurance Brokerage has appointed Robert M. Campeau as vice president, announced President John Monroe. Campeau specializes in property/casualty insurance for medical device companies. Campeau has more than 30 years of experience in the insurance industry. He was previously employed by Calco in Orange, Calif.

Delia Grenier

Beaverton, Ore.-based Indemnity Excess & Surplus Agency Inc. has hired Delia Grenier as senior associate broker and promoted Darren Eversole to marketing manager.

Grenier will be responsible for brokering and underwriting commercial and professional lines accounts. Her duties will include new and renewal business. She has over 22 years of experience in the insurance industry and previously held various underwriting and brokerage positions with ECM, Marsh-USA, Hartford Specialty and Gainsco.

Darren Eversole

Eversole will be responsible for advertising, communications and marketing of all lines for the agency. He joined IES Inc. in 1998 and previously served as surplus lines broker. Eversole has over 13 years of experience in the insurance industry and previously worked in commercial liability underwriting for Scottsdale Insurance Company. He also worked for Rainier Insurance Company in commercial multi-lines underwriting. Prior to working in the insurance industry, Eversole was a television reporter in Kentucky.

Terry Adams

The new national officers of the National Association of Professional Insurance Agents were installed during the group’s recent board of directors meeting held in Orlando, Fla. Terry Adams of Ashland, Ore., will become president of PIA National; Ray Peretti of Renton, Wash. will become president-elect; Donna Pile of Lexington, Ky., will be vice president; and Robert Page of Houma, La., will become secretary treasurer. Outgoing PIA National President Carl Stoecklin of Cincinnati will serve as immediate past president.

Sharon Koches

Sharon A. Koches joined the American Institute for CPCU and the Insurance Institute of America as marketing director, responsible for marketing activities in her 12-state, southern region. Koches works with organizations in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Puerto Rico, South Carolina, Tennessee and Texas. Formerly, shewas an account manager of the alternative markets and large accounts department for Selective Ins. Co. Koches’ background on the agency side includes having served as director of membership and member services and as assistant director of E&O for the Independent Insurance Agents of New Jersey.

Sandra L. Masters has assumed responsibility as marketing director for the American Institute for CPCU and the Insurance Institute of America’s Western Region. Previously, she headed marketing efforts in the Midwestern Region. Masters’ marketing activities involve maintaining relationships with organizations that use and teach Institute courses, developing new customers, and participating in regional and national insurance industry meetings and conferences. She works with organizations in Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming. Masters will be based in the Phoenix area. Originally from California, she was director, professional development, for CalFarm Insurance Company in Sacramento, Calif., before she joined the Institutes in 1999. Before joining CalFarm, she was program coordinator for the Insurance Educational Association. She has also served as a sales representative for Prudential Insurance and for USAA.

Zenith National Insurance Corp., headquartered in Woodland Hills, Calif., announced that Jack D. Miller has been promoted to president and chief operating officer of its wholly-owned subsidiary, Zenith Insurance Company. Miller has been with Zenith for seven years and has been serving in the capacity of executive vice president and chief operating officer.

ACE USA, the U.S.-based retail operating division of The ACE Group of Companies, announced the appointment of Daniel Huckemeyer as senior vice president and Los Angeles branch manager for ACE Risk Management. Based in Los Angeles, Huckemeyer will have responsibility for overseeing branch operations, new business development and underwriting activities for the Los Angeles branch office. With more than 17 years of risk management and underwriting experience in the insurance arena with particular emphasis on serving the large-risk marketplace, Huckemeyer joins ACE USA from St. Paul, where he most recently served as managing director and underwriting director for the Pacific and Western region. He previously held a variety of leadership positions in the large-risk field operations arena with Reliance Insurance, American International Group and Travelers Insurance.

Don Jenkins, executive vice president of Bellevue, Wash.-based Baldwin Resource Group, has been named to lead the property/casualty insurance operations for the company. Jenkins oversees Baldwin Resource Group’s insurance division and overall business development practice. He also provides risk management consulting and insurance brokerage for a wide variety of business types. He has worked in risk management and insurance for more than 30 years and has served clients in the manufacturing, transportation, technology and retail sectors.

San Francisco-based ULLICO Inc. announced the appointment of Gari Mungo as vice president, underwriting for subsidiary company Ulico Insurance Group. Mungo has been with Ulico for nearly seven years. He quickly moved up through the ranks, first as a manager and underwriter for the property/casualty division, then as a manager and underwriter with UIG, and most recently as assistant vice president, underwriting with UIG.
