Brad Moody

Integro has hired three executives to serve in its San Francisco office. Michael J. Korn has accepted the position of managing principal of property practice, and Ted Doolittle has been appointed principal of executive risk practice. Larry A. Reback also has been appointed principal of claims.

Robert Fishman

Korn has 20 years of experience in the property insurance arena, most recently serving as senior vice president of Lockton’s Global Property Group. Prior to joining Lockton in 2003, he held positions with Hobbs Group and Arkwright Mutual.

Robert Nickles

Doolittle has more than eight years of executive liability experience, serving as a broker for Carpenter Moore Insurance Services. He specializes in technology errors and omissions (E&O) programs across all industries, including real estate, consulting, mortgage/loan brokers and telecom.

Timothy Barry

Reback joins Integro from Marsh, where he served as senior vice president of risk consulting practice. He is an insurance coverage attorney with more than 13 years of experience analyzing and resolving insurance coverage and claims disputes in general liability, professional liability, employment practices and crime, and other specialty lines of coverage. He began his career as a senior accountant with GTE California, and later served as an attorney with Ropers, Majeski, Kohn & Bentley before joining Marsh in 2000.

Darryl Siry

Moody Insurance Agency has promoted Brad Moody to president of the agency’s Denver operations. Evan Moody, founder of the company, will remain with the agency in a full-time capacity as CEO, overseeing both the Denver and Grand Junction, Colo. offices.

Brad joined Moody Insurance 14 years ago and has been preparing for his new position for a decade under his father’s guidance. In his new role, Brad will remain active in the sales function, continuing to manage his current clients, as well as handling strategic planning and management of the agency.

Evan, who founded Moody Insurance in 1972, will continue working as an insurance producer, managing his current book of clients, and mentoring new producers coming up through the agency.

ARAG, Des Moines, Iowa, has named Robert M. Fishman the company’s CEO and president. Fishman comes to ARAG after serving as executive vice president and chief underwriting officer for Zurich North America. He had been with Zurich since 1994 in several executive positions. He also held key positions at Lexington Insurance Co., a subsidiary of American International Group Inc., and the Progressive Group of Insurance Companies. In addition, Fishman was a practicing attorney for six years.

Ron Arndt, president of RIC Insurance General Agency Inc. has sold the company to NWC Insurance Services, a Northern California investment group. Gary Kitchen is the new CEO of RIC Insurance General Agency Inc. and will work in the Tustin, Calif., headquarters.

Kitchen was previously operations director at NWC. He has 18 years of management experience. Arndt remained as president of RIC until Dec. 31, 2005, at which time he was scheduled to retire after 30 years in the insurance industry. Gail Novelich, vice president, accounting/general services and Teresa Spraggins, vice president, underwriting will remain in their respective roles, as will all current RIC employees.

NWC is located in Santa Rosa, Calif., and is led by Mike Sullivan, chairman, and Dennis Stanley.

Robert Nickles has been named vice president of risk management at Physicians Insurance A Mutual Co. Thomas Kirchmeier, a company employee since 1985, retired from the position in November.

Nickles most recently worked as an account executive for Willis of Oregon, in the Eugene, Ore., office. From 1998 to 2003, he worked for Physicia, where he handled risk management, claims, underwriting and marketing. Prior to 1998, he worked for Washington Casualty Co. and was director of risk management for a large hospital in Pennsylvania.

Topa Insurance Co. has promoted Bob Walters to the position of commercial auto underwriting manager. As underwriting manager, he will manage the company’s commercial auto department.

Walters joined Topa Insurance in 2001 as a commercial auto underwriter. In 2004, he was promoted to the position of senior underwriter.

ABD Insurance and Financial Services has added Robert C. Daum as corporate compliance officer in its Redwood City, Calif., headquarters. Daum will work as part of ABD’s corporate compliance team, as well as be a resource to the company’s 401(k) practice.

Daum practiced securities and corporate law for a number of years prior to working for both the Securities Exchange Commission and the NASD.

Specialty Risk Services LLC has named Timothy Barry director of the company’s special investigative unit and fraud management. In his new role, Barry will oversee state and carrier compliance activities, as well as oversee the development of fraud management tools and practices. He also will guide internal and external fraud management training initiatives, with a special focus in workers’ compensation fraud. He will be based in SRS’ home office in Hartford, Conn.

Prior to joining SRS, Barry was with The Hartford Financial Services Group’s fraud management department, where he worked with law enforcement agencies on workers’ compensation fraud. He has a 24-year-career with the Connecticut State Police, most recently holding the rank of Colonel.

Darryl Siry has been promoted to senior vice president and chief marketing officer for Fireman’s Fund Insurance Co. in Novato, Calif. He will be responsible for the Heritage Program, marketing, communications, community relations, customer research and strategy, and certain strategic business development initiatives. With this appointment, he also joins the company’s strategic advisory group.

Siry most recently served as vice president of brand development leading the establishment of Fireman’s Fund Heritage, a branding and community relations program.
