Robert P. Page of Houma, La., was installed as president of the National Association of Professional Insurance Agents (PIA National).

Page, co-owner of Charles A. Page and Sons Insurance Agency in Houma, has served on the PIA of Louisiana Board of Directors since 1996. With the state association, he has held the offices of secretary/treasurer, president-elect, president and national director of PIA of Louisiana.

During the past several years, Page held a succession of officer positions with PIA National, culminating with his current position as president. In addition, Page has served as chair of the PIA National Natural Catastrophe Task Force.

He will serve on PIA National’s executive committee along with Donna L. Pile of Lexington, Ky., immediate past president; Kenneth R. Auerbach of Eatontown, N.J., president-elect; Jon D. Spalding of Perry, Mich., vice president/treasurer; and Brian Marino of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., secretary/assistant treasurer.

Robert E. Fulwider was inaugurated chair of the Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America (the Big “I”), with C. Brett Nilsson, and J. David Daniel assuming the offices of chair-elect and vice chair, respectively.

Fulwider is principal and president of the Ray Wuestenberg Agency Inc. in West Liberty, Iowa, and the Fulwider Agency Inc. in West Branch, Iowa. He also is president of Bob Fulwider and Associates, a life and health financial planning agency in eastern Iowa.

Fulwider started his career as an independent agent in 1973. He is a past president of the Independent Insurance Agents of Iowa and sits on its Education Committee. He also is a two-time Agent of the Year (1983, 1990), and was inducted into the Iowa Insurance Hall of Fame in 2003. Nationally, he is a past chairman of the Big “I” Government Affairs Committee and the Crop Insurance Task Force.

Nilsson is senior vice president for The Buckner Co. based in Salt Lake City. Prior to being elected to the Executive Committee in 2003, Nilsson served as president of the Independent Insurance Agents of Utah from 1992 to 1993. He also served as a director on the Big “I” national board for nine years. Nilsson is a past recipient of Utah’s Agent of the Year and Young Agent of the Year awards, and he received an IIABA Presidential Citation in 2001.

Daniel is president of Daniel & Eustis Insurance in Baton Rouge, La. Prior to being elected to the Executive Committee, Daniel served on the board of directors of the Independent Insurance Agents of Louisiana before becoming president in 1997. Daniel has received IIAL’s Lifetime Achievement Award as well as the Outstanding Committee Chairman Award. On the national level, Daniel has served on IIABA’s Technical Affairs Committee and was chairman of the Governance and Communication Task Force.

New York-based Kinloch Holdings Inc. named William Corrigan chief financial officer.

Before joining Kinloch, Corrigan was deputy chief operating officer for Willis North America. He also served as a regional CFO in New York and the Northeast. Most recently, he helped restructure the organization’s western region. Prior to Willis, Corrigan was at PwC Consulting.

Also, the company picked Bob De Blasio to lead its Healthcare Industry Practice. Prior to joining Kinloch, De Blasio was with Hilb Rogal & Hobbs, where he was responsible for the nationwide healthcare industry specialty practice. Before HRH, he was at Marsh & McLennan.

Jeanette Busby joined Bellevue, Wash.-based Baldwin Resource Group as an account manager in the benefits department. She is president of the Northwest Washington Association of Health Underwriters.

Additionally, Vivien Mitchell joined the company as an administration assistant, which includes operations and accounting duties. Mitchell has worked in the insurance industry for more than 17 years.

White & Company Insurance Inc. appointed Dan Armstrong manager of its Orange County, Calif., office.

Armstrong began his career working for a workers’ compensation captive in Santa Barbara, Calif. He served two years with The Hartford Insurance Group as a commercial underwriter and was an account executive at White & Co.

Eileen Gallagher was promoted to employee services manager for California State Compensation Insurance Fund’s Human Resources Department.

Gallagher has 17 years of workers’ compensation experience. She began her State Fund career in 1990 as a customer service representative in the organization’s Cerritos District Office. Her most recent post was as staff information systems analyst for the newly created Project Services Office in 2006.

Zurich named William “Bill” Blake regional executive for its southwest region. Blake will be based in Zurich North America Commercial’s Glendale, Calif., office. He will be responsible for Arizona, Southern California, Colorado, Southern Nevada, New Mexico and Wyoming.

Blake has more than 18 years of insurance experience and joined Zurich in 1997 as a senior account executive. In his career with Zurich, he took on increasing responsibilities across the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, Northwest and Southwest regions for Zurich’s construction business, including the role of the regional vice president of both the Northwest and Southwest regions. In 2005, he joined the Commercial Markets business unit as its platform executive.

San Mateo, Calif.-based Edgewood Partners Insurance Center named John Greenfield vice president specializing in property and casualty insurance.

Greenfield began his career at ABD Insurance and Financial Services. At ABD, he managed a large book business, which included high-tech, retail, manufacturing, medical device and life science companies. Greenfield has expertise in commercial insurance, focusing on executive and corporate liability, professional liability and intellectual property liability.

The company also named Teri Zanders vice president of business development and client services. Zanders will serve as the client liaison for EPIC’s employee benefits and P/C divisions, and has experience in workers’ compensation and integrated disability management. Zanders has more than 20 years of experience, having spent 15 years at ABD Insurance & Financial Services.
