Paulette Lundy has been promoted to vice president of Human Resources for Maryland’s Injured Worker Insurance Fund (IWIF), a workers’ compensation insurer. She previously served as director of human resources at IWIF. Prior to joining the organization in 2007, she was Statewide EEO Coordinator for the Maryland Department of Budget and Management.

Massachusetts-based insurance agency Provider Insurance Group has hired Julie Wetherbee as marketing manager specializing in social media, events and field sales support. Wetherbee is a weekend co-host/reporter for New England Sports Network’s Dirty Water TV and was also the former in-arena hostess for the Boston Celtics. Wetherbee has over seven years of marketing experience. She previously served as marketing director for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts’ Office of Business Development, where she supported seven industry directors with all of their marketing needs.

Michael Scalzo has been named Mid-Atlantic branch manager at New York-based insurer Magna Carta Cos. Scalzo succeeds Dennis Christensen who is retiring after 25 years with the company. Magna Carta Companies operates through Public Service Mutual Insurance Co., Paramount Insurance Co., Western Select Insurance Co. and Business Alliance Insurance Co.

A.I.M Mutual Insurance Cos., a workers’ compensation insurer based Massachusetts, promoted Paul M. Kehoe to controller. Kehoe will oversee financial accounting and reporting functions. He joined A.I.M. Mutual in 2005 as an accounting manager. He began his career in Ernst & Young’s insurance audit practice and spent eight years in public accounting and auditing roles with Ernst & Young and Hasbro Inc.

Geoff Pratt is joining NSM Insurance Group in Pennsylvania as director of Workers’ Compensation Programs. Pratt brings 23 years of underwriting and risk management experience in monoline workers compensation. He last served as vice president of ACE Risk Management and as a vice president with AIG Specialty Workers’ Compensation.

The Professional Insurance Agents of New Jersey elected Donna M. Cunningham as the trade group’s president. Cunningham has served as vice president, secretary and treasurer for the group. She is also president of ADP/Statewide Insurance Agencies Inc. in Cedar Knolls. The group’s other officers are Vice President Keith Savino, partner and chief operating officer of WRG in Mahwah; Vice President Anthony Bavaro, vice president of Jamison Insurance Group in West Orange; Vice President Stephen Tague, principal of van den Heuvel & Fountain Inc., in Augusta; Secretary/Treasurer Glenn Tippy, president of Gerrity, Baker and Williams Inc. in Flanders; and immediate past president William R. Vowteras, owner of Fraser Brothers Group in Edison.

The board of the Mercer Insurance Group Inc. (MIGP) has named Paul D. Ehrhardt as president of MIGP’s subsidiary, Financial Pacific Insurance Co. of Rocklin, Calif. He will also retain his position as chief underwriting officer for MIGP and its subsidiaries. Andrew Speaker will remain CEO of Financial Pacific, as well as president and CEO of New Jersey-based MIGP and each of the insurer’s subsidiaries. Ehrhardt will continue to remain active with the company’s East Coast underwriting operations.

Marsh Mac’s risk and reinsurance specialist, Guy Carpenter & Co., has named Liz Flynn as Global chief operating officer. Based in New York, she will be responsible for developing and implementing Guy Carpenter’s global strategic operational initiatives. Before joining Guy Carpenter, Flynn was senior vice president of the Restructuring Office – Separation and Transition Management at AIG.
